Austal is undertaking a significant strategic shipbuilding initiative, supporting Continuous Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Enterprise. As a key team member, you will oversee engineering investigations to enhance Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) capabilities for strategic shipbuilding projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough reliability investigations to identify deficiencies in existing systems and optimize asset reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety.
- Prepare and report on findings through the Engineering Investigation process.
- Maintain a comprehensive RAM documentation suite on a Business Management System.
- Perform modeling and analysis related to reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety.
- Security Clearance.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in reliability engineering or lifecycle cost analysis.
- Understanding of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) process.
- Experience in Defence major/mission systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 55000 Asset Management.
