Business Financial Specialist

The Business Advisor – Finance role is a critical component of the organization's financial management structure. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality business advisory services to a portfolio of divisions, ensuring effective and efficient financial management, compliance with legislative frameworks, and achievement of strategic financial goals.
The role requires expert financial reporting and analysis to support decision making and compliance with budgeting and financial frameworks. It also involves developing and maintaining networks with key stakeholders across the department, services, external agencies, and organizations to ensure quality outcomes.

- Desirable: A tertiary qualification in accountancy, business, or commerce
The successful applicant will receive a competitive remuneration package, including ASO6 $98,478 - $104,165 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
OthersThe successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to employment, renewable every five years. Additionally, the RRHAN–EC Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course is required and updated every three years.
