Business Financial Specialist Opportunity

 

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering financial planning and reporting services to support our business operations. Key tasks include preparing cost reports, conducting regular financial reviews with project managers, and analysing budgets and costs to inform strategic decisions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing departmental and project cost reports, including accruals, actuals, budgets and forecasts.
  • Conducting monthly financial reviews with project managers to ensure accurate forecasting and budget adherence.
  • Analysing budgets and costs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Managing cost changes, including tracking invoices and providing general support.
  • Coordinating cost control requests and assisting with the month-end costing process.

 

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in a similar financial planning role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly developed Excel skills and analytical ability.
  • Ability to build credibility through engagement with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Relevant qualifications in finance, business or accounting are highly desirable.
