Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Frontline Human Resources. As a Refrigeration Technician Apprentice, you will work with a variety of host employers to gain hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial, commercial, and domestic refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and assemble components, install, test, fault-find, service, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Install and connect piping to refrigeration systems
  • Drill holes, install mounting brackets, and cut, bend, and join piping
  • Test refrigeration and air handling units and make adjustments to ensure they work correctly
  • Install parts such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, air filters, switches, and gauges
  • Test systems for leaks and fill them with refrigerant according to relevant standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Safety-conscious attitude and positive work ethic
  • Strong interest in learning new skills and taking on new challenges
  • Valid driver's license
  • Relevant industry experience is desirable
