City Facilities Management: Refrigeration/HVAC Apprenticeship Opportunity

City FM Australia, a global leader in facilities management, engineering, construction, and energy solutions, is seeking a Refrigeration/HVAC Apprentice to join our team. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with highly skilled technicians, completing preventative and reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in refrigeration control systems
  • Establish the basic operating conditions of vapour compression systems
  • Dismantle, replace, and assemble engineering components
  • Install refrigerant pipe work, flow controls, and accessories, maintaining low temperature systems
  • Prepare and connect refrigerant tubing and fittings
  • Locate and rectify faults in low voltage electrical equipment using set procedures
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Mechanical aptitude, an eagerness to learn, and ability to participate in working as part of a team
  • Own transportation and current Victorian Probationary or full Drivers Licence
  • Willing to undergo a Medical and Police Check
  • Ability to work without supervision to proactively anticipate and resolve issues
