Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site-based quality management, including maintaining ISO accreditation, ensuring product compliance and certification, coordinating and supervising laboratory activities, and promoting initiatives to deliver improved quality performance.

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure conformity to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Maintain and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Provide technical support and training to employees on quality-related matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the steel manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of quality manufacturing systems and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and innovatively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
