The Electrical Lead Technician plays a pivotal role at the Bodangora Wind Farm. As a key member of the site team, you will be responsible for leadership, supervision, and technical expertise.

Regular interaction is required with the Site Service Manager, Site Team, Customers, Internal Technical Teams, other GE Onshore Wind Farms, Contractors, and the Local Community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Supervision: Guide and manage site activities, leading site technicians and third-party contractors in daily operations.
  • Technical Expertise: Hold the Site Electrical Contractors License Nominee role, ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and codes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, share lessons learned, and lead training sessions for technicians and contractors.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate completion and filing of documentation related to electrical work and HV switching.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Uphold safety policies, conduct inspections, and perform fault finding on assets.

This position requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.

As the Electrical Lead Technician, you will have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives and share your knowledge with others.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively manage site activities.

A high level of technical expertise and understanding of safety policies are essential for this role.
