Seeking a dedicated and organized individual to provide high-quality support services in the Legislative Assembly Chamber during Parliamentary sittings.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with visitors and undertaking varied tasks. In this part-time position, you will work 21.75 hours per week over multiple days.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective support services in the Legislative Assembly Chamber during Parliamentary sittings.
  • Conduct informative public and school student tours of the Parliamentary complex, including educational tours with interactive activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the team within Chamber and Education Services.
Requirements:
  • Well-developed oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, ensuring tasks are completed and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Demonstrated ability in using Microsoft Office Suite for administrative tasks or the ability to become competent within a reasonable period.
  • Thorough knowledge or the ability to acquire thorough knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of staff within the Parliamentary Precinct.

A current Working with Children Blue Card is required before commencing in this position.
