Senior Study Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Study Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and delivering robust studies and tenders according to agreed budget, schedule, and client expectations.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain a study implementation plan, identify resource requirements, and coordinate input by various departments and external consultants as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high-quality deliverables in the form of study periodic reporting and study documents.
  • Ensuring standard documents and processes are implemented and continuously used.
  • Ensuring alignment of study estimates and execution plans with expected commercial and contracting models.
  • Developing subsequent engineering/project proposals to ensure alignment with study intent.
  • Complying with project development processes for invoicing, job opening, internal reporting, and closing.
  • Facilitating handover of studies and development work to the next phase (e.g., engineering, projects).

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering or similar directly applicable technical qualification.

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience include:

  • Significant experience in two or more of the following areas: design, project development, project delivery, or site operations/support (in coal or mineral processing).
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable skills, knowledge, and experience include previous experience with large clients.
