With extensive in-house capabilities, we provide fully integrated design and construction expertise across the whole asset lifecycle, as well as network operations and asset maintenance.
Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced professional to lead our Zero Harm team in the Water sector.
As the ANZ Head of Zero Harm – Water, you'll be responsible for delivering initiatives, programs, and outcomes that drive safety excellence in our Water business.
This is a full-time permanent position that can be located in multiple locations throughout the East Coast of Australia.
Please note that occasional travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Zero Harm team in the Water sector, driving safety excellence and delivering initiatives, programs, and outcomes that meet business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve safety performance, reduce risk, and enhance the overall safety culture within the Water business.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and effective communication of safety initiatives and outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver safety excellence.
- Monitor and report on safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role in the Health and Safety industry.
- Previous experience managing a large team of safety leaders and advisors.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, Workplace Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
- Advanced Diploma in Health & Safety or willingness to obtain.
- Lead Internal Auditor or willingness to obtain.
- Exposure to high-risk industries, preferably within construction or infrastructure.
- High level of problem-solving and the ability to deal with complex issues.
- Able to build and maintain quality relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
