Job Description

The Broadcast Audio and Comms Support Engineer role supports the management of audio and communications systems that deliver media across various platforms. This includes TV, streaming, mobile, radio, and print covering sports, news, and entertainment.

Responsibilities include providing technical support to stakeholders, contributing to knowledge transfer, documentation, and user training. The role is part of a dynamic team that values innovation and encourages creative ideas.

Key tasks include:

  1. Technical Support
  2. Incident Management
  3. Team Collaboration
  4. System Design and Implementation
  5. Change Management and System Upgrades
  6. Stakeholder Meetings and Workflows
  7. Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing

This role requires flexibility, with potential out-of-hours, weekend, and on-call work. A degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience is necessary. Experience with audio, talkback, and communications production systems, as well as knowledge of broadcast audio and communications workflows, is also required.
