Job Title: Portfolio Asset Manager

As a seasoned portfolio manager with expertise in retail and commercial asset management, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a diverse portfolio of retail and commercial assets. Your key objective will be to ensure properties are professionally managed, compliant, and performing optimally.

  • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day property management, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.">
  • Conduct regular site inspections and manage maintenance via preferred contractors to maintain high-quality property standards.">
  • Monitor and action rental arrears in line with established KPIs to minimize financial losses.">
  • Manage lease events, including renewals, expirations, and rent reviews, to maximize tenant satisfaction and revenue growth.">
  • Prepare annual budgets and track critical lease dates to ensure timely decision-making.">
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.">
  • Collaborate with leasing agents to reduce vacancies and optimize property utilization.">
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance, insurance, and property risk registers to ensure regulatory adherence.">
  • Prepare monthly reports, financial statements, and asset management proposals to inform business decisions.">
  • Contribute to new business development efforts through presentations and proposals to drive revenue growth.">
">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • ">
  • 5+ years' experience in retail or commercial asset management with a proven track record of success.">
  • Sound knowledge of lease contracts and rent review processes.">
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to develop and maintain client partnerships.">
  • Current Certificate of Registration or Full Real Estate Licence.">
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Cirrus8, RP Data, and Microsoft Office Suite.">
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for site visits.">
  • High attention to detail, initiative, and strong time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver results.">
