Technical Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead our teams and drive technical excellence.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multiple teams' delivery of SaaS offerings built on AWS technologies. They will collaborate with Product and Agile Delivery teams to ensure feature flow and unlock engineering value within teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery:
- Lead the delivery of SaaS offerings with a high-performing culture mindset.
- Collaborate with Product and Agile Delivery teams to ensure feature flow and unlock engineering value.
- Work with Platform Engineering and Information Security teams to manage tech debt and ensure system reliability.
- Incorporate shift-left quality assurance practices and collaborate with the QA team.
- Establish customer awareness and provide industry-leading support services.
People:
- Establish engagement and productivity practices of Tech Leads and their teams.
- Hold regular 1:1s with your team and promote a culture of performance feedback.
- Work with your team to craft development plans across engineering teams.
- Provide mentorship to help individuals grow in technical and people leadership.
- Collaborate with other engineering managers to develop and execute technical strategy.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has held several leadership roles in software development and has a deep understanding of the engineering lifecycle and modern ways of working. They should be able to communicate openly across different levels in the business.
They will have experience in leading teams, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving technical excellence.
They will be passionate about delivering as a team and energized by developing others.
