Early Childhood Centre Manager Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Centre Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality outcomes for children and their families.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the centre's daily operation, providing innovative leadership to a team of experienced and professional educators. You will have a solid understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standard (NQS), and have practical experience in running a high-quality centre ensuring all regulatory obligations are being met.

As an effective leader, you will be required to guide educators in all aspects of the industry, building constructive working relationships with families and staff. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of the centre and provide management and mentorship to the team.

Requirements:

  • Approved Bachelor of Teaching/Education in Early Childhood Education or Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in growing a service and team culture, with a strong track record of leadership and management
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for Child-Related Employment
  • Child protection training: Identifying and responding to children and young people at risk of harm
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Understanding of the NQF and NQS, with effective skills in conflict resolution, team building and implementing performance review processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with knowledge of relevant legislative policies and standards
