About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join our Service team in Perth. As an Automation Technician, you will have a background in working on industrial control systems and a keen interest for continuous learning. You will be responsible for producing safe, reliable and maintainable PLC and SCADA systems to meet client requirements within various sectors.
Your Key Responsibilities- Provide field service and breakdown support for a range of customers across different industries.
- Conduct preventative, corrective and recommended maintenance and documentation.
- Assist with commissioning projects.
- Perform electrical installation works.
- Complete on-the-job reporting, timekeeping and invoicing.
- A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment is essential.
- You must have industrial electrical experience.
- Experience with fault finding PLC/SCADA/HMI Systems is required.
- PLC programming (ideally in Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider) and HMI/SCADA Programming (ideally in Citect, FactoryTalk or WinCC) are necessary skills.
- Electrical installation and commissioning experience is also required.
- A commitment to customer satisfaction is vital.
- You must have the ability and desire to participate in a rotating after-hours on-call roster.
- Instrumentation, Hazardous Area, Working at Heights and Confined Space training is desirable.
- An Australian driver's license and Unrestricted Electrical License are essential.
- You must have the right to work in Australia.
