Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled automation professional to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing streamlined workflows and powerful orchestration processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automation capabilities for infrastructure and cloud services, driving efficiency and reducing manual tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for workflow innovation and process improvement.
  • Create and manage workflows that enable seamless coordination of tasks and data across multiple systems and applications.
  • Own your code - write clean, maintainable scripts that are secure and version controlled.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and refine automated processes to ensure smooth operation.
  • Document clear and concise information for automated workflows, processes, and configurations.
  • Share knowledge and champion automation adoption within the organization.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in complex ICT environments delivering reliable cloud, infrastructure, or application services to agreed service levels using service management tools.
  • A collaborative and curious mindset, thriving in a team environment with open, respectful communication.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines, with expertise in Hashicorp Terraform, Red Hat Ansible, GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and JIRA.
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Knowledge of public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms, including VMware Aria, Microsoft Azure, and associated technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), logging, secret management, encryption, and firewalls.
