Job Description

The Business Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the Operations business units and costs. This involves analyzing data, pulling together findings to enable business leaders within Operations to make strategic decisions.

A key responsibility of the Business Analyst is to undertake monthly analysis on warranty, logistics, and warehouse expenses.

  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Peace of Mind (Aftermarket) team to provide support and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Participate in activities, initiatives, and projects to assist the business in meeting working capital KPIs within areas of responsibility.
  • Develop strong business relationships with Operations Director and regional teams, presenting monthly results and insights.
  • Implement process improvements aimed at driving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Prepare detailed commentary of month-end actual results, including explanations of significant variances to budget, forecast, and last year.
  • Provide timely financial information for consolidation reporting by the Finance team, complying with group and company policies, standards, and schedules.
  • Liaise with Sales and Quality teams with respect to issues impacting Operations, such as sales promotions, product launches, product run-outs, endemic faults, recalls, and rework.
  • Strategic planning, budgeting, quarterly and monthly forecasts for Transport, Warehouse, and Warranty Costs, including upload to TM1.
  • Oversee warranty provisioning and ensure shared services calculation is appropriate.
  • Maintain robust reporting systems for operations and warranty costs, including Power BI reports.
  • Operations investment requests and business cases, including cash flow modeling.
  • Present warranty financial results at the monthly quality meeting.
  • Maintain internal control procedures to meet Electrolux Control Systems (ECS) compliance and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Monitor Logistics expenses and ensure expenses are accurately captured and reported as required per Accounting Manual.
