Early Childhood Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of young children.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, with a rotating roster from 7:30am to 6:00pm. You will be responsible for leading a team of educators, developing programs that cater to the needs of each child, and implementing educational initiatives that promote learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of children aged 0-5 years
  • Lead a team of educators to deliver exceptional care and education to children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and families
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure seamless transitions and shared understanding of their child's progress
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and research-based initiatives to inform your teaching approach
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent (ACECQA approved)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role or demonstrated natural ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Current First Aid/CPR qualification and Working With Children Check
