About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and client-centric Senior Speech Pathologist to join our expanding Melbourne team in a Team Leader role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based clinical services to participants living with disability and/or chronic complex conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health and injury assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
  • Assess and treat clients to carry out community-based rehabilitation programs to improve functional independence and quality of life.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to all stakeholders, including clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Mentor and support junior clinicians to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and current registration with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • NDIS experience and understanding is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
  • Proven ability to establish meaningful relationships with a variety of stakeholders and demonstrate repeat referral sources.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills, particularly in advocacy, mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Current driver's license and registered vehicle.
  • Working with Children Check.
