As a textile innovator, you will be responsible for creating cutting-edge designs that enhance human comfort and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop softgood concepts by applying knowledge of fibers, yarns, fabrics, foams, and textile manufacturing integration methods.
  • Investigate and evaluate new materials and concepts to improve comfort, durability, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with vendors and manufacturing experts to optimize designs for functionality, aesthetics, and scalable production.
  • Develop technologies to ensure textile materials and processes are feasible for mass manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years in product development within technical textiles sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing and softgood integration methods.
  • Ability to translate materials research into functional, manufacturable products.
  • Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships.
  • Proactive attitude with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
