$110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

The Project:

CPB Contractors has been selected by Brisbane Airport Corporation to undertake the planning phase of the International Terminal Security and Retail Upgrade project.

The project involves the reconfiguration and expansion of the International Terminal's main security screening area and upgrading retail and administrative facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor construction progress and compliance to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate and ensure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work.
  • Effectively coordinate and supervise the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Verify that all workers meet site requirements prior to commencing work.
  • Forward plan daily/weekly/monthly construction work, including resource requirements and trade coordination.
  • Evaluate site-wide compliance to standards, specifications, and safety.

Requirements for this role:

  • Prior experience as a supervisor working on large-scale projects within the Civil Construction industry.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and health management.
  • Showcase people management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast-paced project environment and meet deadlines.
  • Be available for night shifts if required.
