Perioperative Nursing Opportunities

Are you a skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse looking to take your nursing career to the next level? We have exciting opportunities for experienced nurses to join our team in Western Sydney.

As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will play a key role within a collaborative team to ensure high levels of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care
  • Supervising, directing and guiding nursing team members to deliver patient care
  • Providing education and support to patients for recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs
  • Leading quality improvement and safety projects to achieve outcomes
  • Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs

Our modern facility provides a wide range of health services including orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology, general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics. With eight operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit including intensive care, you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Authority to Work in Australia
  • Working with Children check
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  • Current Registration (no restrictions) with AHPRA
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated, able to work as part of a high-functioning team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Postgraduate Certificate or working towards in Perioperative Nursing
