Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in Perth. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and program support for our Humanitarian Settlement Program.

You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including financial administration, invoicing, credit card reconciliation, and procurement. Additionally, you will contribute to the improvement of business and program processes, working closely with our teams, clients, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain efficient administrative practices and financial systems.
  • Work under general direction as part of a team, adapting to changing program and organisational needs.
  • Utilise computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with database applications or systems.
  • Maintain thorough records management and demonstrate high attention to detail.
  • Effectively work with cultural and individual differences within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate great verbal and written communication skills.
What We Offer

Requirements
  • A sound ability to implement and maintain good administrative practice and financial systems.
  • A sound ability to work under general direction as part of a team with the capacity to work independently and adaptively to meet changing program and organisational needs.
  • Sound computer skills, including ability to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook and familiarity with database applications or systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of records management and high attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of working with cultural and individual differences effectively and appropriately within a team environment.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
