Quality Assurance Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the quality of goods received meets specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a plan for inspecting goods to ensure conformance to specifications and deliverables
  • Conducting inspections at the point of receipt, primarily focusing on appearance, construction, and basic function of goods
  • Investigating reports of quality and conformance issues and ensuring resolution in accordance with guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining records of non-conformance, investigation, and documentation of goods received

This role requires an experienced QA professional with a broad view of mechanical equipment and thorough knowledge of standards, specifications, and quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience with understanding of QA functions and methodology
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field, preferably quality assurance
  • Thorough knowledge of standards, specifications, and documented procedures, with proper record-keeping
  • Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Proficiency in best practices for quality assurance and defect management
