We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing supply chain operations, driving inventory productivity improvements, and ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and minimize overstocking.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to ensure accurate forecasting and provide detailed insights into sales, gross profit, and inventory targets.
  • Lead the forecast review process to identify opportunities and risks, and develop plans to deliver budget outcomes.
  • Analyze business and financial challenges, trends, and improvement opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with company goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Proven ability to manage an OTB and drive inventory productivity improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to lead Excel-based projects.
  • Previous experience in both Planner roles and Inventory Management roles.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum

Location: Sydney
