Job Title: Dietitian

At Healthscope, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based nutritional assessment and management of patients in an acute hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication with patients and families.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor undergraduate students to foster their growth and development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure exceptional customer service delivery.
Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent) as recognized by the Dietitians Association of Australia.
  • Eligibility for full membership and APD status with the Dietitians Association of Australia.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in acute hospital settings.
  • Well-established acute clinical nutrition skills and expertise.
  • Exceptional time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and evidence-based practice.
  • Authority to work in Australia.
