About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team at Healthscope. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based nutritional assessment and management of patients in an acute hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service improvement projects
  • Supervise undergraduate students and provide mentorship
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Essential Criteria
  • Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent) as recognized by the Dietitians Association of Australia
  • Eligible for full membership and APD status with Dietitians Association of Australia
  • Minimum 2 years' acute hospital experience
  • Well-consolidated acute clinical nutrition skills
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Proven excellence in customer service delivery
  • Commitment to ongoing education and evidence-based practice
  • Authority to work in Australia
