Community Fundraiser Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Fundraiser to join our dedicated, friendly and supportive fundraising team. If you are passionate about helping people to raise money whilst working towards the achievement of targets and want to do it for a brilliant cause then we have just the job for you.

About this position
  • This is an excellent opportunity to work for a charity that makes a real difference in the community.
  • You will be responsible for your own income and expenditure targets, building robust and sustainable relationships in our local community.
  • You will give an excellent supporter experience by offering support and guidance to groups and individuals organising events and activities in aid of the hospice.
Your responsibilities
  • Be a key contact with all our supporters, building robust and sustainable relationships in our local community.
  • Give an excellent supporter experience by offering support and guidance to groups and individuals organising events and activities in aid of the hospice.
  • Talk to and support a wide range of individuals and groups, both face to face, via presentations as well as effectively carrying out administrative duties.

  • A passion for what we do and target driven.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • A proactive approach.
  • Excellent time management, administration and organisation skills.
  • A keenness to work with and talk to people (including public speaking).
  • Creativity.
