Lead OSHC Program Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral member of our team. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the OSHC service, designing and delivering fun and engaging programs and activities, and building and maintaining relationships with families as well as key stakeholders.

We operate on a split shift structure:

  • Before School Care - 6:30am - 8:45am
  • Afterschool Care - 2:30pm - 6:00pm
  • The remainder of the hours are made up of paid administration time for planning and preparation.

No split shifts are required during vacation care, where you will work alongside the team to plan and host a fun and engaging program full of incursions and excursions at local attractions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the service in line with the National Quality Framework, including the Education and Care Regulations and Law, following our policies and procedures.
  • Lead your team to work effectively, focusing on each other's strengths and abilities.
  • Develop relationships with schools and the community.
  • Comply with and direct staff to follow WH&S policy and procedures.
  • Design and deliver quality programs for all children, leveraging the skills and qualities of your team members.
  • Take full autonomy to develop, through collaboration with your peers, our exciting and engaging holiday program.

Requirements:

  • You are an enthusiastic and engaging individual with a positive approach to working with children, with the ability to form positive relationships.
  • Current WWCC and the ability to complete a National Criminal Screening through the Department of Education.
  • Current rights to work in Australia.
