Job Description

Job Summary:

The Cummins Site Manager will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance advice for all customer Cummins powered equipment in the Gunnedah Region. This role will involve monitoring, reporting, and escalating product issues, concerns, and solutions, as well as participating in technical diagnostic support for customer repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide application support and maintenance advice for all customer Cummins powered equipment.
  • Proactively monitor, report, and escalate product issues, concerns, and solutions.
  • Participate in technical diagnostic support for customer repairs.
  • Support and liaise with on-site planning teams to provide the local Cummins Field Operations team with short- and long-term planning scheduling vision.
  • Oversee imbedded site technicians, managing their day-to-day activities, providing guidance and support, and ensuring they perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Provide onsite Cummins personnel technical, commercial, and safety supervision and job observation support.
  • Drive product improvement initiatives and projects to support customer Cummins engine populations.
  • Liaise with customer and local OEM teams to provide guidance, escalation, and resolution to customer requests.
  • Ensure minimum downtime on all Cummins powered units onsite.
Requirements:
  • At least two years post-trade qualification experience.
  • Experience working on Cummins HHP engines.
  • Personal commitment to HSE and leading an interdependent safety culture.
  • Diesel trade qualification.
  • HHP experience.
  • Strong influencer and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Leadership experience.
  • A mature attitude, organized, and methodical approach to work.
  • Problem solver and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
