About the Role
AWX Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Worker to join our team in the distribution area of a high-volume manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for manually picking orders in a cold room environment, utilizing your knowledge of manual pick slips and forklift operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual order picking in a cold room environment (3 degrees)
- Utilize knowledge of manual pick slips to efficiently pick orders
- Operate a forklift to move crates and pallets
- Work in a fast-paced environment with high volume orders
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cold room environment
- High level of fitness and good core strength
- Good maths skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting
- Good reading, writing, and numeracy skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Drivers license and reliable transportation or live close to the location
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia
