Senior Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in the acute setting. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical knowledge and experience in assessment and treatment of adults with swallowing and communication disorders.

  • Provide professional, evidence-based speech pathology assessment and intervention to patients.
  • Develop positive working relationships with medical officers, nursing staff, allied health professionals, and other staff members.
  • Participate in and provide educational support to patients and their significant others, supervision, quality improvement, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with complex communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of practice.
Selection Criteria:
  • Extensive clinical knowledge and experience in assessment and treatment of adults with swallowing and communication disorders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with independent professional judgment and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills across all levels.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
