About Us:

The Role:

We are seeking an Activities Coordinator to join our team at Bupa Bexley. As a Wellbeing Carer, you will be responsible for creating joy and connection with our residents through various activities and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with daily living tasks such as mealtimes and outings

- Provide emotional support to those with cognitive impairment or mental health needs

- Plan and implement activities that promote socialization and wellbeing

- Collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to ensure resident needs are met

- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols

- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

- First Aid Certificate (or willing to get one)

- Australian driver's licence desirable

- Previous experience in caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting is essential
