Job Description

Our organization seeks a skilled Tradesperson to maintain and repair various mobile and fixed plant, and infrastructure at our Forrestfield maintenance depot.

This is a Monday to Friday on standard day shift hours role that involves performing routine, corrective maintenance and fault repairs on depot plant including compressors, pressure vessels, lifting tables, light vehicles, forklifts and various other equipment.

  • Perform routine, corrective maintenance and fault repairs on depot plant.
  • Maintain the tool store and equipment register co ordinating testing with service providers.
  • Report actual work completed versus scheduled tasks.
  • Adhere to technical and operational specifications for all work performed.

The successful candidate will have strong dedication to safety and current unrestricted WA driver's license. A Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification is required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong dedication to safety.
  • Current unrestricted WA driver's license (Essential). Forklift & HR licence advantageous.
  • Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven ability to interpret technical instructions and drawings.
  • Extensive knowledge of equipment functions, defects, and fault-finding.
  • Experience with the repair and maintenance of heavy industrial plant and light vehicles is preferred, but not essential.
