Project Director Role

Our organization seeks a skilled Project Director to lead and manage all phases of civil construction projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct project teams to ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining budget control.
  • Develop and oversee project programs, ensuring adherence to approved plans and client expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track and within budget.
  • Demonstrate leadership in safety, ensuring compliance with relevant safety requirements.
  • Procure materials and services, assist with labor and equipment organization, and review invoices for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, internal meetings, and participate in client and stakeholder meetings as required.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal teams, clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with 3+ years' experience delivering multiple civil construction projects.
  • Excellent project management skills, including detailed project plans, budgeting, and report development.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and deliver projects to required standards.
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating foresight, planning, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Collaboration and communication skills to effectively negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong commitment to OHS and site safety requirements.
