Corporate Legal Advisor

A strategic corporate legal professional is sought to join our in-house team and deliver high-quality legal support across various corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and negotiate consulting contracts within agreed timeframes, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Analyse contract requirements and provisions to manage risk and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, providing expert advice to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to contract improvement initiatives, developing and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies and compliance protocols.
  • Align contracts with business goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy.
  • Coordinate contract negotiations, amendments, and addendums while ensuring key deadlines are met, streamlining processes for efficiency.
  • Identify and implement improvements to policies, procedures, and tools for contract management and reporting, enhancing the overall effectiveness of our operations.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, with strong commercial and contract law expertise in a project-oriented environment.
  • Sound understanding of Australian corporate legal frameworks, governance principles, and contract management best practices.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organisational and analytical skills, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure without compromising quality, maintaining high standards of professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, building strong relationships and resolving conflicts efficiently.
