Associate Director & General Manager | Conditsis Lawyers

Multi-award-winning firm Conditsis Lawyers is presently seeking to appoint an experienced civil and commercial lawyer to join our growing team.

The successful applicant may work from our Newcastle office.

About us

Conditsis Lawyers is a highly respected, growing, full-service law firm with staffed offices in Newcastle and Gosford and satellite offices in Wollongong and Sydney.

While we are best known for our criminal law practice, we also have a thriving civil law practice (amongst other practice areas) which is growing and in need of an additional lawyer.

We have a friendly, supportive culture and encourage and support our lawyers to excel in their chosen fields through professional activities such as specialist accreditation, involvement in the Law Society and presentation of MCLE seminars.

About you

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • The experience and the ability to run their own files;
  • Hold 3 + years post admission experience in general litigation (Local/District Court/NCAT/Supreme Court);
  • Some commercial law experience would be desirable but is not essential;
  • Be highly developed in their communication and analytical skills;
  • Have excellent rapport with clients;
  • Be organised with strong file management skills including financial management of file arranging trust funds and reaching an achievable budget of 4.5 hours a day; and
  • Have an ability to work well in a team environment.
