Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical advice and engineering support to a major client, both on-site and remotely. This involves collaborating with in-house engineers and designers to safely introduce new technologies at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide technical advice and engineering support to a major client, both on-site and remotely.

  • Customer Feedback: Gather and act on customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design Tasks: Support design tasks and ensure accurate documentation and timely completion.
  • Equipment Assessment: Assess equipment during re-builds and suggest cost-effective improvements.
  • Process Refining: Continuously refine systems and methods for efficient service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years' experience in mechanical engineering design or project engineering within mining or heavy industry.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Skillset: Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Equipment Design: Experience in hydraulic equipment design and manufacture.
  • Reliability Engineering: Background in Reliability Engineering.
