An exciting opportunity has emerged for a service-oriented engineer to join our team, focusing on our Patient Monitoring portfolio. This pivotal role involves direct customer interaction, emphasizing the development and maintenance of strong customer relationships while delivering expert technical guidance on the upkeep, installation, and servicing of our medical devices (both software and hardware) in accordance with established regulations and policies.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional service through technical support, corrective and preventive maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and installation of equipment, along with software and hardware upgrades.
  • Engaging actively in the sales process by providing expert technical assistance throughout the entire lifecycle of customer relationships, from pre-sales to implementation and post-sales support.
  • Leading the management and resolution of technical escalations, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of progress according to company protocols.
  • Identifying the most cost-effective repair solutions to minimize customer downtime.
  • This role is based in Sydney and will involve regular travel and coverage across the designated regions.
  • Willingness to work reasonable additional hours outside of standard business hours as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities as defined by Philips.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a customer-facing service engineering role within the medical equipment or biomedical sector, particularly with hospital patient monitoring systems.
  • Strong IT proficiency and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • A valid AU driver's license is required, and a Police Check will be part of the recruitment process.
