As a skilled web developer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our flagship platform and driving innovation in the field of payment processing and loan management. Our company is a fast-growing, Australian-owned software business that prides itself on delivering high-quality solutions to businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for building accessible, responsive UIs using modern web frameworks such as Angular and TypeScript. This will involve collaborating with product, QA, and engineering peers to design, implement, and test features end-to-end. You will also work on improving reliability and performance, and help evolve our architecture as we scale.
Web Development:
- Design and implement user interfaces using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and Angular;
- Own features end-to-end, from UX to implementation and testing;
- Collaborate with product and QA teams to ensure seamless integration;
APIs, Data & Integrations:
- Design and implement C# / ASP.NET Core APIs using DDD and MediatR;
- Integrate third-party services, including identity, payments, accounting, and messaging platforms;
- Work with SQL Server/T-TSQL and Entity Framework Core to optimize queries in a multi-tenant environment;
Reliability, Operations & DevEx:
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high-quality code;
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with QA and Support teams to reproduce and resolve issues;
- Partner with junior and mid-level developers to share knowledge and best practices;
Our ideal candidate has 5-8+ years of experience building production web applications, with strong skills in TypeScript, modern Angular, C#, and ASP.NET Core. Experience with CI/CD and Azure cloud services is highly regarded, and exposure to payments, lending, or financial integrations is an added bonus.
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and clear communication;
- Product-minded, pragmatic problem solver;
- Comfortable using AI development tools responsibly, with strong verification habits;
- Tertiary qualification in IT/CS or equivalent experience;
What We Offer:
- A hybrid work model, with up to 4 WFH days and at least 1 day in our office;
- Flexibility, with core hours from 9am-2pm;
- Professional growth, with access to training, courses, and upskilling pathways;
- A friendly, collaborative, and inclusive team culture;
- Team lunches, coffee, drinks, casual office days, learning & development support;
