Job Title: Senior Product Developer

As a senior product developer, you will play a key role in driving the design and development of activewear products that meet the high standards of our brand.

  • Develop and implement effective product strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends and consumer needs, and translate these insights into actionable product plans.
  • Work closely with our merchandise teams to build category ranges through creative concepts and designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development
  • Translate conceptual designs into actionable plans, considering materials, functionality, and cost.
  • Oversee prototyping and testing with partners and internal teams to create samples and prototypes.
  • Create and adjust product specifications, including technical pattern making throughout the development process.
Team Leadership
  • Educate and mentor the team to ensure understanding of product requirements and foster collaboration for innovation.
  • Source and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
Quality Assurance
  • Implement quality assurance processes and standards; conduct inspections and audits to address quality issues.
  • Maintain and update technical sketches and Bill of Materials; conduct product testing and validation for quality, performance and standards compliance.

Requirements:

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong background in activewear fabrics is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in the field with insights to challenge the norm.
  • In-depth knowledge of garment construction techniques.
  • Solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
