Responsibilities
  • Follow the LSKD operating principles including Design and Production, and 1% Better
  • Lead the brand with integrity as a Hungry, Humble Smart team member
  • Collaborate with Creative Direction to understand LSKD's product vision and community needs
  • Collaborate with merchandise teams to build category ranges through creative concepts and design
  • Generate creative ideas for new products, features, and enhancements aligned with Creative Direction and community insights
  • Apply market research, trend analysis and product testing insights into development of product ranges
  • Translate conceptual designs into actionable plans, considering materials, functionality, and cost
  • Oversee prototyping and testing with partners and internal teams to create samples and prototypes
  • Create and adjust product specifications, including technical pattern making throughout the development process
  • Maintain and update technical sketches and Bill of Materials; conduct product testing and validation for quality, performance and standards compliance
  • Educate and mentor the team to ensure understanding of product requirements and foster collaboration for innovation
  • Source and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners
  • Monitor lead times and production schedules to improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency
  • Implement quality assurance processes and standards; conduct inspections and audits to address quality issues
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and key metrics
Essential Skills / Experience
  • Strong background with activewear fabrics is highly preferred
  • Proven track record in the field with insights to challenge the norm
  • In-depth knowledge of garment construction techniques
  • Solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Style Arcade, Shopify, Asana) is desirable
  • Passionate about and connected to the LSKD community, brand mission, and values
  • Proactively seeks new learning opportunities and stays current in the field
  • Effective communicator with clear and focused messaging
  • Ability to meet deadlines and go the extra mile to get the job done
  • Passion for creating great product
