As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for leading the development of clear methodologies and overseeing assessments of financial crime risk across our organization.

Our team is committed to delivering excellence in financial crime risk management, and we are looking for someone who can facilitate collaboration and drive results.

Key responsibilities include managing the delivery of assessment frameworks, facilitating ongoing review and model validation, and designing a framework for assessing and managing financial crime typology information.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in financial crime risk assessments, stakeholder communication, and governance. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering financial crime management information and reporting for committees.

The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management practices are embedded throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of clearly documented methodologies for assessing and managing financial crime risk.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive framework for identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial crime risks.
  • Facilitate regular review and validation of assessment frameworks to ensure they remain adequate and effective.
  • Design and implement a robust framework for managing financial crime typology information to inform risk identification and mitigation strategies.

This is a permanent full-time position that offers flexible work options and a hybrid model of minimum three days per week based out of one of our corporate offices.

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven expertise in financial crime risk assessments, including best practice methodologies and industry standards.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in supporting change initiatives and business process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.

While not essential, relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, and industry certifications like ACAMs or AFCS, would be advantageous.
