Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Systems Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of electronic subsystems for demanding motion control technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analysis circuit card assemblies featuring control and power electronics as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and debug FPGA and embedded microcontroller modules
  • Participate in commissioning and testing of products
  • Develop test plans and support testing for developmental and production products
  • Develop technical documents for product development, including commissioning/ qualification reports, technical drawings/schematics, instructions and manuals
Requirements
  • Minimum: Degree in Electronics / Mechatronics / Embedded Systems or similar engineering discipline
  • Preferred: Masters in Electronics / Mechatronics / Embedded Systems or similar engineering discipline
  • Required 3+ years experience in a relevant product development role
  • Desired 5+ years experience in a relevant product development role
  • Experience in firmware development, in particular employing FPGAs and microcontrollers
  • Defence and manufacturing related experience, knowledge of designing to EMI/EMC requirements and testing especially relating to MIL-STD-461 & MIL-STD-810
  • Sneak circuit analysis experience
  • Experience in implementing communications based on SPI/RS422/RS485/CANbus/Ethernet
  • Experience in modelling using MATLAB/Simulink/Python etc.
