About This Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the delivery of high-quality refurbishment projects across multiple retirement villages in NSW.

This role requires a strong project management background, preferably in residential fit-outs and refurbishments. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, managing multiple tasks, and ensuring timely completion of projects.

  • Lead and inspire a team of Regional Refurbishment Managers within the designated region, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Establish and uphold high standards for the region through effective team management and leadership.
  • Manage the reinstatement and refurbishment of units and apartments across several allocated villages, working closely with stakeholders to ensure quality and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality refurbishment projects while overseeing performance, consistency, and best practices across the region and direct reports.
  2. Perform end-to-end project management duties, including property inspections, budget estimation, documenting scope, tendering, contractor engagement, and client-side management of contractors.
  3. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring and assisting in client-side management of project delivery.
Requirements
  • Experienced project manager with a background in residential fit-outs and refurbishments.
  • Current driver's license essential for regular site visits; kilometers and tolls reimbursed.
  • Technical or tertiary qualifications in Property Management, Project Management, or Business Studies desirable; or Cert IV Building & Construction with 5+ years' experience in project management.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Excellent communication and computer literacy skills.
  • Resilient, solution-focused, and capable of problem-solving amidst occasional time pressure and delivery deadlines.
