Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert commercialisation and business advice, including strategic plans, reports, and feedback.
  • Support Recipients through commercialisation and scaling-up processes.
  • Monitor progress, providing ongoing feedback and reporting.
  • Advocate for the Industry Growth Program through networking and promotional activities.
  • Contribute to uplifting commercialisation and innovation capabilities in the Australian Public Service.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in strategic planning, commercialisation, and business advisory, especially within the startup or SME sector.
  • Deep understanding of the Australian innovation ecosystem.
  • International experience in capital raising, sales/marketing channel distribution, joint ventures, or establishing multinational operations is highly regarded.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Familiarity with government programs and compliance with relevant guidelines and legislative requirements.
  • High-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
