About the Role

The primary objective of this position is to deliver exceptional nursing/midwifery care to clients, ensuring positive outcomes and promoting a culture of safety and respect. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide expert nursing/midwifery care to clients, prioritizing their needs and promoting independence and self-management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve best practice and improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and carers to ensure optimal care and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in nursing/midwifery care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and respectful work environment.
