Job Title: Hospitality Steward

We are seeking a skilled and efficient steward to join our hospitality team in Cairns, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for anticipating and attending to guests' needs, working in the kitchen as directed, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the hotel is essential.
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times, even under pressure, is vital for achieving guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and attend to guests' needs and desires immediately.
  • Work in the kitchen as directed on a daily basis.
  • Ensure work is carried out in a timely and efficient fashion.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
  • Take responsibility for cleaning duties and responsibilities.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures.
  • Promote a culture of learning and professionalism.
  • Maintain personal appearance in accordance with hotel grooming standards.
  • Maintain harmonious relationships with other team members.
  • Comply with hotel operational policies and procedures.
  • Have knowledge of and practice occupational health and safety guidelines.
