Tax Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team at Hanes Australasia. As a key member of our tax group, you will be responsible for coordinating all tax compliance obligations and providing tax advice to the Hanes Australasia Group (domestic and international).
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of income tax returns, tax reporting, PAYG, Transfer Pricing documentation, BAS, FBT returns, and withholding tax payments.
Provide a full range of tax advice, including income tax, GST, FBT, and international tax.
Assist in tax reviews/audits, Research & Development claims, business acquisitions/disposals, and maintain tax governance processes, procedures, and controls.
Maintain the document management system for the tax group and commit to ongoing taxation training.
Requirements:
An accounting degree and CA or CPA qualified.
Minimum 5 years technical tax experience (Big 4 accounting firm and/or Large Corporate).
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Loads of initiative with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
Strong communication skills, with a love of talking to people to gain the right information from stakeholders.
