**Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a long-term FIFO roster within the Oil & Gas Industry. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing the site medical centre, and responding to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full site nursing remit, including emergency response and patient care.
  • Assist with the daily management of the site medical centre, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing, hydration testing, and inspect medical equipment.
  • Complete relevant tasks with injury management and health monitoring.
  • Assist with duties related to the Fitness for Work Management Plan.
  • Manage Poison Permit and maintain medical stock, including scheduled drugs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant and recent work experience in Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Trauma Unit, or Remote Medicine.
  • Valid AHPRA Registration.
  • Valid CPR Certificate, issued in the last 12 months.
  • Current Advanced Life Support Certificate.
  • Previous industrial and remote experience.
  • A minimum of 20 hours CPD completed in the last 12 months.
  • Experience working with minimal supervision in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Experience demonstrating initiative and flexibility in a high-pressure environment subject to change.
  • IV Cannulation.
  • Valid Manual Driver's Licence.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Office, telehealth, and other clinical solutions or management systems.
  • Proven experience in managing pharmaceutical/consumable stock levels.
  • Holds a certificate of training in QIAstst-Dx Application Training.
  • Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), or equivalent.
  • Western Australia Disaster Preparedness and Management Unit Major Incident Medical Managements and Support (MIMMS), advanced or team member training.
  • Competency in using laboratories and point of care diagnostic equipment onsite.
